About The Position

Albertsons Companies is one of the largest food and drug retailers with over 2,300 stores across the U.S. The grocery industry is rapidly evolving due to changes in customer behavior, with consumers increasingly discovering products online, using apps for deals, and purchasing through eCommerce or subscription services. Albertsons Companies has a long history of innovation in grocery eCommerce and is making significant investments to enhance its digital capabilities. This role oversees eCommerce Operations in the Southwest Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience managing a team of associates.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of associates.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve P&L results and operational metric goals in stores across the division.
  • Manage In-store eCommerce Department Managers and Supervisors in day-to-day operations to achieve key metrics (on-time tilling, picks per hour, out of stocks, on-time pick up, order handoff to third-party logistics partners).
  • Monitor on-time delivery by third-party logistics partners to ensure a seamless customer shopping experience.
  • Identify and address capability gaps with third-party logistics partners to improve service.
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with third-party logistics partners to resolve claims and complaints related to customer delivery experiences.
  • Lead field teams through expansion, business, and environment changes.
  • Review eCommerce goals, metrics, and performance with District Managers and Store Personnel regularly, partnering to grow the eCommerce business and overcome growth roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the Division Director of eCommerce on launching innovative strategies and programs for eCommerce.
  • Recommend store consolidations and/or openings as required by growth or need.
  • Set and maintain high standards of quality, productivity, efficiency, and service for the rapidly expanding business.
  • Drive a culture of exceptional customer service within the frontline eCommerce staff.
  • Ensure operational compliance with eCommerce policies and procedures.
