About the Role: Reporting to the Vice President of Amazon & eRetail, the ECommerce Manager, Amazon & eRetailers, this role will oversee and optimize our Amazon EU accounts, focusing on Point of Sale (POS), Wholesale and Marketing initiatives. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our relationship with Amazon globally, with a specialized focus on scaling our Amazon Europe (EU) business across multiple locales (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES). You will ensure that regional revenue, profitability, and velocity goals are not only met but exceeded through strategic planning and precise tactical execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of eCommerce experience, with mandatory hands-on experience managing Amazon or Marketplaces.
  • Demonstrated success in increasing e-Commerce revenues via Amazon & eRetail within an Omni-channel business model
  • Strong website, market, and consumer analytic skills, with a proven ability to link data, metrics, and consumer behavior to strategic recommendations
  • Strong communication and localized relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and external agency teams globally

  • Experience managing international or Amazon EU accounts is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional expert for Amazon EU, managing the complexities of cross-border trade, localized compliance, and marketplace nuances across the UK and EU locales
  • Oversee day-to-day operations within Amazon Vendor Central, handling catalog health, variations, buy-box suppression, and operational chargebacks
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to navigate localized pan-EU inventory distribution, ensuring healthy weeks of supply (WOS) while mitigating the impacts of cross-border customs or regulatory friction
  • Act as the primary conduit between Amazon EU Managers, Brand Specialists, and internal global stakeholders
  • Create, pursue, and land sales targets in alignment with regional revenue goals, internal sales targets, and platform velocity metrics
  • Develop detailed sales and trade-spend forecasts for Amazon globally and within the EU, proactively managing performance against these metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts to quickly pivot against shifting European market dynamics, currency fluctuations, and pan-European pricing alignment
  • Ensure total country assortment is optimized to focus on the needs of each marketplace
  • Maintain thorough documentation of negotiated European and global terms, joint business plans (JBPs), agreements, and allowances to ensure corporate accountability
  • Collaborate closely with internal media team, key agency partners, and Amazon Ads team to conceptualize and execute performance marketing strategies (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) optimized for distinct localized audiences
  • Partner with the OLAPLEX Marketing and Creative teams to localize the brand's go-to-market strategy, ensuring the A+ content, Brand Stores, and overall messaging align perfectly with desired brand perception and focus on localized content
  • Regularly track and analyze KPIs related to POS sales, retail media efficiency, and customer engagement, providing clear strategic insights to senior management weekly
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on optimal e-retail merchandising practices, conveying specific regional requirements, cost implications, and localized feedback to wider business units
