About The Position

The ECO Inspector checks ECO process rework to ensure it complies with requirements. The role inspects solder rework and engineering updates, verifies motherboard cleanliness and labeling, records daily ESD audits, and meets operational KPI requirements. Work assignments may change based on project needs and may include inspection, testing, or data input.

Requirements

Understanding of solder quality.
Ability to lift 10 pounds.
Ability to stand consistently for 8 hours and push, pull, twist, and lift containers or boxes weighing at least 10 pounds.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Knowledge of using MS Excel to read instructions.
Attention to detail.
Customer-service focus and ability to work as a team player.
Demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions and ideas.
Determination to achieve excellent results.
Good attendance and willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Inspect solder rework against rework and repair requirements.
Perform inspection and check for CID.
Check for excessive flux residue and solder, and clean the motherboard (MB).
Check for cold solder joints and short solder pads.
Check for solder bridges.
Check for shifted pads and pins.
Verify correct polarity.
Verify engineering rework is updated to the required level and revision.
Check that labels are correct.
Ensure the motherboard is clean before it moves to the next station.
Meet or exceed KPIs defined for business and operational requirements.
Submit the KPI report on time at the end of the working day.
Check and keep daily records for ESD audits.
Follow 5S standards.
Use company time efficiently and productively, including punctuality after breaks and personal matters.
Accept changes to work assignments based on project needs, including inspection, testing, or data input.
