About The Position

Are you a clinician passionate about supporting youth, adults, and families facing complex medical, behavioral health, and psychosocial challenges? We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Services Clinical Consultant to join our growing ECM Services team! This position is designed as a flexible, low-hour (3-5 hours a week) consultation role ideal for an experienced licensed clinician interested in supporting ECM staff development and quality of care. In this impactful role, you will help improve outcomes for high-need Medi-Cal members by supporting a whole-person care approach designed to reduce preventable hospitalizations and emergency department visits while increasing access to coordinated community-based services. Under the direction of the ECM Services Program Manager, the ECM Services Clinical Consultant supports the quality and effectiveness of services provided by the ECM Services Unit. This position supports both clinical and non-clinical care coordination efforts for clients experiencing significant behavioral health and social needs. The Clinical Consultant provides direct supervision to ECM Lead Care Managers and contributes to staff development, quality assurance, training, assessment practices, and program evaluation activities.

Requirements

  • Licensed or registered as a Waivered Clinician working under supervision in: Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in: Care coordination and case management
  • Supporting individuals experiencing Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and/or substance use disorder (SUD)
  • Working with children and families involved in child welfare systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to ECM Lead Care Managers
  • Support quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with staff training, onboarding, and professional development
  • Ensure person-centered care planning and coordination practices are maintained
  • Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, educational, and community partners
  • Support outreach and engagement efforts for high-need populations
  • Participate in program evaluation and service improvement activities
  • Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive care practices
