eClinicalWorks(eCW) Trainer
About The Position
Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group with 30 locations and over 130 providers, serving more than 200,000 patients. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Arizona by promoting health and longevity through personalized, preventative care. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including cardiovascular health, behavioral health, allergy testing, in-house labs, imaging, and chronic disease management. We are seeking an eClinicalWorks (eCW) Trainer to deliver EMR training and ongoing education to front office staff, back office staff, and providers across our clinics. This role involves collaborating with departments and the IT team to optimize workflows, support system implementations, and ensure effective use of eClinicalWorks for high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- eCW experience required.
- Thorough understanding of EMR workflows for front office, back office, billing, and providers.
- Proficiency using the eClinicalWorks support ticket system.
- Confidence in group presenting.
- Mastery of providing remote training and support via Microsoft Teams.
- Traveling between clinics in AZ is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide best-practice training for new users and continuing education using eClinicalWorks for Front Office, Back Office, and Providers, including at-the-elbow support and remote training sessions.
- Collaborate with the IT Department on EMR help-desk tickets.
- Manage eClinicalWorks ePrescription and EPCS licensing application and onboarding for providers.
- Participate in eClinicalWorks full implementation projects, including migration from an existing EMR system.
- Optimize workflows for providers, staff, and clinics.
- Assist with collecting and sending training checklists.
- Collaborate in innovation projects designed to maximize process efficiencies and improve patient care.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects at various stages of development.
- Assist with Training and Development and Admin tasks as needed.
