About The Position

Performs various echocardiography studies on patients under the direction of a Cardiologist, Manager, Assistant Manager and/or Lead Technologist. Gathers and documents appropriate data and reports critical findings to appropriate physicians. Maintains certification or registration with approved credentialing agencies. Conducts 2-D, 3-D, M-mode, Doppler, color Doppler, strain, and stress echocardiograms. Prepares and instructs patients, performs studies to obtain maximum-quality results, cleans and maintains equipment, and enters patient data into computer systems.

Requirements

• Formal training from an ultrasound trade school with a cardiovascular program.
• Registration as a Cardiac Sonographer or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.

Nice To Haves

• One year of echocardiography experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
