About The Position
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an Echocardiographer. This is a Full Time position, working Days with 36 scheduled weekly hours, located in Virginia Beach, VA. The unit has 5 rooms for Echos. The Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The Echocardiographer will work in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside. Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
- Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) required within 12 months of hire
- BLS (Required within 90 days)
- ACLS (Required within 90 days)
- Echocardiographer experience (1 year minimum required)
Responsibilities
- Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests
