About The Position

Performs vascular and cardiac ultrasound exams on All Age Groups. Must be familiar with all aspects of echocardiography and vascular sonography. Reports on preliminary findings and critical results.

Requirements

• Vocational Training Specific Coursework: Cardiovascular Sonography Program
• Within one (1) year of hire or transfer must have one (1) of the following certifications: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT): Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• 1-2 years' experience in hospital, clinic, or physician office
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality
• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
