About The Position
The Echocardiogram Technologist is a patient care position responsible for performing echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, the stress portion of nuclear testing, and treadmill stress tests, as well as administering Holter and event monitors. The role is with Providence Medical Foundation, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.
Requirements
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, or national certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Two years of experience in an ambulatory or acute cardiac setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms.
- Perform stress echocardiograms.
- Perform the stress portion of nuclear testing.
- Perform treadmill stress tests.
- Administer Holter monitors and event monitors.
