Echocardiograph Technologist

About The Position
Performs a variety of non-invasive echocardiography tests used to diagnose cardiac disorders. As an integral member of the departmental team, the Echocardiography Technologist performs tasks as requested to support quality patient care in the Cardiology Department. Reports to the Director of Cardiovascular Services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Echocardiography.
- Upon hire, hold National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or national certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Upon hire, hold National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Have sufficient experience to work effectively in commonplace work situations and working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of echocardiography.
