Per Diem Echo Technologist - Cardiology
About The Position
The Per Diem Echocardiograph Technologist acquires and interprets M-mode, 2-D, pulsed and continuous Doppler, and color Doppler echocardiograms, including contrast and stress echocardiograms. The technologist completes echo worksheets and performs necessary calculations in a timely manner. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, applying relevant professional training and experience, and maintaining current registry status through continuing education. Training is reinforced through video and digital presentations, seminars, and conferences covering emerging technology and foundational practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an Echocardiographer preferred.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
