About The Position

Wilson Health is seeking a direct-hire Echo/Vascular Ultrasound Technician for its location in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio area). This role operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and/or invasive procedures, as directed by a Radiologist. The patient population served includes pediatric, adolescent, young-middle aged adult, and geriatric patients. Wilson Health's Radiology and Imaging Services Department utilizes various imaging technologies to provide detailed views of patient anatomies, aiding in accurate diagnoses and minimizing the need for invasive surgery. The department is staffed by highly-trained personnel and board-certified radiologists, with images stored on a state-of-the-art Picture Archive Communication System (PACS).

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• ARDMS registry or registry eligible
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS (RVT, RDCS) or CCI (RVS, RCS) Certified

Nice To Haves

• One-year experience in ultrasound and radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures with the level of competence required by the ARDMS, ACR, and the Medical and Administrative Directors of Radiology.
• Maintains both quality and quantity of the patient workload at the professional level demonstrated in the department.
• Displays an understanding of procedures and equipment utilized throughout the department, including abdominal, OB, Vascular, non-invasive vascular, general ultrasound, and echocardiography procedures and equipment, including PACS.
