About The Position

Cardiology Associates is seeking an experienced PRN Echo/Vascular Technologist for its growing outpatient cardiology practice serving Mobile County and Baldwin County, Alabama. The role involves performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies in a fast-paced clinical setting and providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. This as-needed position requires flexible scheduling and travel between office locations in Mobile County and Baldwin County.

Requirements

Previous echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound experience.
Strong knowledge of echocardiography and vascular imaging procedures.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
Dependable transportation.
Willingness to travel between Mobile County and Baldwin County office locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous cardiology experience.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and/or RVT/RVS certification.

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians.
Conduct high-quality ultrasonic diagnostic imaging studies.
Position patients and select appropriate transducers for procedures.
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust imaging settings to achieve optimal diagnostic quality.
Obtain and document accurate ultrasound images for physician interpretation.
Prepare hard-copy and digital imaging records as needed.
Maintain accurate departmental reports, logs, and patient records.
Back up studies to EchoPAC and ensure studies are properly documented.
Record daily procedure volumes and communicate reports appropriately.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and monitor supply inventory.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care.
