About The Position

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. PRN rate $38.50/flatEvery day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics., upon hire
• Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours of in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiovascular ultrasound

Responsibilities

• Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, two dimensional, color flow mapping, cardiac doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophageal echo, stress testing, EKG, and Holter application.
• Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures
• Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians.
• Maintains echo equipment
• Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed
