About The Position

Roshal Health is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound diagnostic studies in West Grove, Pennsylvania, on a PRN basis. The role involves working at assigned hospital or freestanding emergency facilities, following established protocols and safety standards, maintaining accurate documentation, and responding promptly and professionally to work-related calls. The position requires independent work, sound judgment in busy or emergency situations, effective communication with patients and clinical teams, and the physical ability to perform examinations and assist with patient mobility and positioning.

Requirements

At least 1 year of imaging experience after graduation.
Current ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification.
Valid driver's license.
BLS/CPR certification.
Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision.
Ability to pass required hospital employment health requirements, including drug screening and background check.
Comfort with cardiac procedures.
Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications.
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology sufficient to identify the area of imaging.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions for establishing a safe work environment.
Ability to remain calm and effective in busy, stressful, or emergency situations.
Ability to communicate effectively in English in person, by phone, and in writing.
Adherence to policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance standards.
Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and maintain quality control standards.
Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively and work independently.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff at client facilities, management, and peers.
Ability to maintain the mental acuity, situational awareness, and decision-making needed for patient assessment, image acquisition, prioritization, and communication with the care team.
Ability to safely lift and move 30 pounds independently and assist with patient positioning, transfers, and mobility.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including managing interactions in difficult or stressful situations.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, twist, reach, and reposition patients frequently; and occasionally squat, kneel, or work in confined or awkward spaces.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies; push and pull ultrasound machines and other medical equipment; and assist with patient transfers, positioning, and movement.
Ability to perform frequent or constant hand and upper-extremity tasks, repetitive probe movements, and examinations involving extended arm positions or static and awkward postures.
Visual concentration, hand-eye coordination, physical endurance, and ability to maneuver safely around patients, beds, equipment, and obstacles.

Responsibilities

Contact the assigned facility with an estimated arrival time and arrive within the prescribed timeframe.
Follow prescribed safety standards when operating equipment.
Maintain work areas in compliance with client standards.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and files as directed.
Document work processes as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
