About The Position
As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Associates Other
- one year certificate from a healthrelated program in a related medical field, which includeseminar course training in cardiac ultrasound
Responsibilities
- Performs ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols
- Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning
- Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance is performed after each procedure
- Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
- Completes all clinical supply inventory
- Actively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, non‐routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests
