About The Position

The leading cardiology group in the West Valley is expanding and looking to add valuable and skilled team members to our comprehensive and long-standing Practice. Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year experience performing ultrasounds in a hospital or medical office environment.
Current registration (CCI or ARDMS).
Knowledge of computer software
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Knowledge of ultrasound equipment
Skill with time management
Skill in performing diagnostic ultrasound testing
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written)
Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cardiac, carotid and/or vascular ultrasounds while complying with Cardiac Solutions protocol and ICAEL standards for ultrasound testing.
Assess imaging in order to identify next steps per departmental protocol.
Assist physicians by providing the measurements and pictures acquired during testing in an accurate, precise manner.
Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of ultrasound techniques and principles to provide quality imaging.
Consistently seek educational tools in order to stay current with professional registry and ICAEL standards.
Completing patient exams and reports per departmental protocol.
Participates in interdisciplinary team and facility meetings.
Shares knowledge, experience, and education relevant to sonography with peers.
Travels to all offices as needed.
Other duties as assigned per the need of the organization and within scope of licensure.
