About The Position
Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2- dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.
- Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient data and formulates plan of intervention
- Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms
- Evaluates and calculates echocardiogram raw data and scores, calculates the raw data, and presents it in an appropriate manner
- Performs Echocardiographic studies: 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler.
