Requirements
- Currently registered by CCI as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist or ARDMS as RDCS.
- State licensure required through OBMI.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Two years experience in the field of echocardiography is preferred.
- Ability to perform pediatric, trans-esophageal and stress echos is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs Echocardiography diagnostic testing for inpatients and outpatients.
- Transports patients to echo labor when necessary.
- Goes to patient rooms for testing as assigned.
- Contacts cardiologists immediately in the event that a life-threatening condition is identified during testing.
- Assists with other types of testing as needed.
