About The Position
These assignments support the Cardiology Department and involve performing cardiac ultrasound procedures to assess heart structure, function, and blood flow. The role includes working closely with physicians and care teams to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Candidates will be interviewed and submitted to the facility for review. Start dates are determined by the facility after candidate selection.
Requirements
- Active ARDMS or RDCS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms as ordered
- Evaluate cardiac structure, valve function, and blood flow
- Prepare preliminary reports and communicate urgent findings
- Ensure patient safety and respond to patient needs
- Coordinate with physicians and care teams
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions
- Manage daily workflow, scheduling, and documentation
