Position exists to perform high quality and comprehensive pediatric echocardiographic examinations on patients and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Requires a minimum of 2 shifts per week Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p. Location: Minneapolis

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program.
  • Credentialed in pediatric and adult echocardiography via American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of hire.
  • Active basic life support (BLS) status and technical competency evaluations must be maintained.
  • Ability to read, write, and use basic arithmetic and grammar.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with all patients and families when faced with difficult situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-pediatrics).
  • Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in related field.

Responsibilities
