ECG Technician
About The Position
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking an ECG Technician (Electrocardiogram Tech) to perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and apply various longer term ECG monitors (24hrs to 30 days) on patients. This role offers opportunities to educate both adult and pediatric patients on testing procedures, ensure patients are positioned correctly, apply electrodes accurately, and assess the quality of ECG tracings. There are also opportunities to facilitate stress testing under the supervision of a cardiologist, advanced practice provider, or clinical exercise physiologist. You will collaborate with all levels of clinical staff throughout the hospital and gain valuable hands-on clinical experience while learning on the job.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of Electrocardiograph Technician experience.
- CPR Certification within 180 Days Required
Nice To Haves
- Technical or Associate’s Degree in Healthcare related field
- CCT, CRAT, or equivalent
