ECE Summer Camp Counselor
About The Position
Leading Edge Extended Learning is seeking energetic, dependable, and engaging educators for their 2026 Summer Camp Program at Trevista at Horace Mann. This role involves creating a safe, enriching, and fun environment for children. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on activities, relationship-building, teamwork, and supporting child development through programming and mentorship. The summer camp runs through July 31, 2026, with consistent afternoon hours and potential for additional shifts. Strong performers may be considered for school-year positions in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Requirements
- Candidates must meet Colorado ECE Lead Teacher qualifications through education, experience, credentialing, or a combination of qualifying pathways.
- Selected candidates must be able to provide supporting documentation within 30 days of employment, including: Transcripts and/or certifications
- Experience verification letter(s) completed by a former supervisor or HR representative, if applicable
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging enrichment activities and group programming
- Support positive behavior guidance and social-emotional development
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Maintain compliance with licensing and program expectations
- Collaborate with leadership and fellow educators to support program success
