About The Position

The Shift Production Lead is responsible for the control process, operators, and communication and support of their applicable production line(s) or area. This role involves reviewing process data daily, ensuring machines run at established standard cycle times and cavitation, and adhering to standards for resin, regrind, PCR, and additive consumption. The lead will maintain quality standards, a clean working environment, and assist in training other EBM operators, material handlers, and packers. Key responsibilities include maintaining EBM lines, changing cutters and anvils, fixing leaks, changing PHD and knockouts, stringing the wheel, and loading resin. The role also involves 5s, maintaining spare parts, assisting in downstream repairs, process verification, maintaining the hydraulic system of the wheel, performing daily grinder safety inspections, maintaining dust collection systems, and managing scrap/purge/drool. Troubleshooting heaters, thermocouples, flow tubes, and dust collectors, as well as performing screen changes, are also part of the duties. The EBM Production Lead provides support to maintenance staff with EBM Grinders and other equipment, completes downtime reports and error logs, communicates technical issues to supervisors and engineers, maintains Tier Boards, and provides relief to other positions within the EBM department.

Requirements

  • Experience with EBM (Extrusion Blow Molding) operations.
  • Ability to review process data daily.

Responsibilities
