About The Position

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Psychologists with expertise and a passion in the area of Eating Disorders. The dedicated and multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share their clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. SLBMI is open to eligible candidates located outside of the St. Louis region who may be interested in joining the team through providing telehealth services. The candidate must be professionally licensed in Missouri as well as professionally licensed in the state they are sitting in (if located outside of Missouri). Interested candidates who are eligible to treat patients through telehealth via PSYPACT credentialing are encouraged. Shift: Monday-Friday, dayshift. Onsite & Remote work available. About the Eating Disorders Program: Our Eating Disorders Program is a comprehensive treatment program for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorders, Emotional Overeating, Compulsive Exercising, and more. The role offers the opportunity to carry your own caseload of outpatients, as well as provide behavioral health treatment within the Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program. Applicants with additional subspecialty interests and training are encouraged. Caseloads can be tailored according to expertise and competencies. This model allows for the ability to earn more if a larger caseload is desired; a multidisciplinary team of 70+ excellent colleagues willing to share clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development; opportunities for clinical presentations/speaking opportunities, consultations, research; opportunities to attend weekly training seminars as well as longer, more formal training seminars that occur several times per year (SLBMI is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists). Requirements

Completed a Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D).
Fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently.
For psychologists not residing in Missouri: must have a current Psychology license in a PSYPACT state that they reside in, hold a current PSYPACT credential and be willing to maintain that credential.
Must be professionally licensed in the State of Missouri.
Must be credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri.
Must have a required 90-day wait period for insurance credentialing to be completed prior to starting.
Some experience treating adults within eating disorders, specifically within CBT or DBT.

Responsibilities

Carry your own caseload of outpatients.
Provide behavioral health treatment within the Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program.

Maintain PSYPACT credentialing if applicable.
