About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Earnix Tech Lead to spearhead the technical design, development, and implementation of solutions using Earnix. This role involves close collaboration with business, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable pricing and rating solutions. You will define and implement branching strategies to support efficient CI/CD workflows and develop an overarching integration architecture between Earnix and Guidewire, enabling seamless consumption of capabilities as a service. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore, providing guidance on Earnix best practices, data structures, and modeling approaches, and driving solution design reviews to ensure code quality and enforce engineering standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on Earnix experience at a Tech Lead or Senior Developer level.
• Strong experience with Rating, Guidewire (GW), and Insurance platforms.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing branching strategies (Git-based workflows preferred).
• Strong experience developing integration solutions between Earnix and Guidewire, including consumption of Earnix models/services in Guidewire.
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of insurance pricing strategies, underwriting workflows, and rating algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Earnix Modeler, Optimizer, and integration connectors.
• Deep knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter integration frameworks.
• Experience working with commercial or personal lines insurance products.
• Familiarity with JSON/XML-based integration, SOAP/REST APIs, and cloud-native integration tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
• 7-10 years of Insurance Experience in Rating/Earnix
• Hands-on Earnix experience with a minimum of 3 years at Tech Lead or Architect level
• Strong knowledge of Earnix modeling, configuration, version control, and deployment lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience integrating Earnix with Guidewire PolicyCenter and other policy admin systems.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance rating structures, rating workflows, and integration points.
• Experience defining and managing branching strategies (mandatory).
• Implementation experience for API service layers enabling pricing-as-a-service consumption.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API security, data orchestration, and microservices.
• Deep experience in P&C insurance—rating, underwriting, policy lifecycle, and product configuration.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to rating migrations (e.g., Ratabase to Earnix), actuarial tools, or pricing analytics platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CI/CD, and DevOps for pricing platforms.
• Earnix or Guidewire certifications are a strong plus.
