About The Position

Riverside's Lifelong Health Earn and Learn Nurse Aide Program is designed to transition new hires from Hospitality Assistants to fully licensed Certified Nurse Aides. Participants will begin as a Hospitality Assistant in a labor pool status until they enter an accelerated 4-week program. This program provides the necessary skills and knowledge to pass the CNA boards. Classes require full-time day shift hours, and participants are paid for all course and clinical hours. Upon successful completion of the program and passing the Virginia Board of Nursing – Nurse Aide exam, graduates will transition into a full-time or part-time CNA position within a Lifelong Health facility. Full-time positions require a 12-month work commitment, and part-time positions require an 18-month commitment upon graduation. Positions in home health or acute care do not qualify for this program. Graduates are eligible for reimbursement for costs associated with registering for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam.
