The Early Years English Teacher works across Chinese, French, and German bilingual classrooms to inspire a foundational love for learning. They facilitate learning by establishing relationships with students and by organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. They develop and foster appropriate skills and social abilities for optimal child development, according to age, ability, and aptitude. They assess and record progress, documenting the learning journey, and link students' knowledge to earlier learning, encouraging further development. PYP Teachers challenge and inspire students to deepen their knowledge and understanding. This role requires commitment to INTL’s mission and the population served, experience teaching at the Elementary school level, and responsibility, self-motivation, friendliness, willingness to work in a team, and adaptability to a multicultural environment. The position involves teaching through inquiry according to the PYP framework, ensuring foundational skill acquisition, and extensive collaboration with Chinese, English, French, and German program teachers.
