About The Position

The Baker’s role is to produce freshly made, artisan pastries, breads and other baked items, such as laminated croissants, pies and desserts, daily using the best possible ingredients for customers to enjoy the best possible eating experience.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be available for weekend and 3am-11am shifts
Must possess a passion for local food and an interest in telling the story behind it.
Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times.
Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service.
Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of a team, and able to create working relationships.
Must be highly motivated, hard working, and possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Produces Swamp baked goods including: baking, mixing, scaling, portioning recipes and following proper weight standards
Follows daily checklists to prepare and bake a variety of unique baked goods
Mixes, rolls, and proofs dough using industry standard equipment
Consolidates and supports Stecca production, including mixing and cutting as needed
Packages catering, wholesale and retail items to specification
Knows how to execute all recipes and procedures with efficiency and accuracy
