This position is responsible for developing teacher effectiveness, supporting curriculum implementation, overseeing child assessment systems, and ensuring high-quality classroom experiences that prepare students for future learning. The Program Supervisor coaches teachers through observation, mentoring, professional development, and reflective practice while preserving teacher ownership of lesson planning and classroom leadership. The Program Supervisor oversees the After School Care Program and serves as a school-wide co-leader of behavior support systems in partnership with the Assistant Director. Provides coaching, support, training, and leadership to assigned teaching staff. Formal evaluation, performance management decisions, and employment recommendations remain the responsibility of the Director. Have working knowledge of the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) Licensing standards of Washington State.
