About The Position

The Early Learning Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and quality of program operations. This position ensures compliance with licensing and funding requirements, supports staff development, maintains strong family and community partnerships, and promotes positive outcomes for children and families. As an Early Learning Center Director, you will: Lead a team of educators, build strong partnerships with families and community stakeholders, and ensure excellence in program operations, compliance, and educational outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field required
  • Director’s credential require
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory and early childhood program management experience

  • Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for daily program operations and educational services
  • Ensure compliance with DHS licensing requirements, agency policies, and funding regulations
  • Foster positive relationships with families, staff, community partners, and stakeholders
  • Partner with Human Resources to support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and credentialing efforts
  • Support accreditation and quality initiatives, including NAEYC and Keystone STARS
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff while supporting professional growth and development
  • Perform other duties as assigned
