About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join their Early Intervention team in Salem, Oregon. This role focuses on supporting young learners aged birth to three during their critical developmental years. The position involves delivering specialized speech and language services, conducting comprehensive evaluations, partnering with families to implement communication strategies in natural environments, and maintaining clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
  • Must complete background check and two sets of fingerprints for school clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized speech and language services to a caseload of children ages birth to three, focusing on foundational communication milestones.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify developmental delays and determine eligibility for early childhood services.
  • Partner with families and caregivers to implement communication strategies within the child’s natural environment.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports using a district-provided laptop.
