About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking Early Intervention Specialists in San Bernardino County, specifically in the High Desert Areas (Hesperia, Phelan, Victorville, Apple Valley, Adelanto, and surrounding areas). This position is available as a part-time or full-time opening. Candidates should be available to work 20+ client hours per week, plus drive time between sessions. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developing developmental disabilities. They are looking for qualified, motivated, energetic, and creative professionals to work with children in family homes to implement personalized family-focused treatment programs. Young Interventions, Inc. Programs focus on a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to guide families in helping their child reach developmental milestones. The role requires home visits within the San Bernardino County - High Desert Areas, with caseloads centered around preferred locations if possible. While most programming is in client homes, there may also be a need for virtual sessions due to illness or special circumstances, resulting in a mixed caseload of in-person and virtual services based on client/family need or preference.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field)
Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development
Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years
Hold a valid Driver's License
Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius)
Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration
Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
Have current TB

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred
Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired

Responsibilities
