About The Position

About Play is seeking passionate, energetic, creative, and motivated Early Interventionists to serve families and children ages birth to six years who have developmental delays or disabilities in the Florence, Darlington, and Horry areas of South Carolina. The role involves providing quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others. The team is described as passionate, fun, creative, and committed to serving and supporting families. This is a full-time position with a salary of $35,000.00 per year plus mileage reimbursement. The work location is primarily on the road, requiring travel up to 75% of the time. A COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory upon hire.

Requirements

Must reside in South Carolina.
Must have at least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-6 years.
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field.
Valid Driver's License.
Reliable Car.
COVID-19 Vaccine is mandatory upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior early interventionist experience.
Prior teaching experience.
Prior early child development experience.
Recent or upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and willingness for on-the-job training.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child).
Willingness to travel 75%.
