About The Position

About Play is seeking passionate, fun, creative, and committed Early Interventionists to serve families and children ages birth to six years who have developmental delays or disabilities in the Florence, Darlington, and Marion areas of South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant positive difference in the lives of children and families.

Requirements

Must reside in South Carolina.
Must have at least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-6 years.
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or a related field.
Valid Driver's License.
Reliable car.
COVID-19 Vaccine is mandatory upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior early interventionist experience.
Prior teaching experience.
Prior early child development experience.
Recent or upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and willingness for on-the-job training.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child).
Willingness to travel 75%.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality care to children ages birth to six years with developmental delays or disabilities.
Serve families in the Florence, Darlington, and Marion areas of South Carolina.
Collaborate with a passionate and committed team to support children and families.
Travel to various locations to provide services.
