Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role focuses on providing in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers where they can naturally learn and develop. The Early Intervention Specialist will plan, schedule, and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities, including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities include administering and documenting program assessments, designing and implementing activities for child development, modeling effective adult-child interactions, providing parents with information and coaching, and monitoring and sharing child progress with families and the team.
