About The Position
About Play is seeking passionate, fun, creative, and committed Early Interventionists to serve families and children ages birth to six years who have developmental delays or disabilities in Sumter, Kershaw, and Clarendon counties in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
Requirements
- Must reside in South Carolina.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-6 years.
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field.
- Driver's License and reliable car required.
- Willingness to travel 75%.
Nice To Haves
- Prior early interventionist experience.
- Prior teaching experience.
- Prior early child development experience.
- Recent and upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality care to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
- Serve families and children ages birth to six years with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Travel to serve clients in Sumter, Kershaw, and Clarendon counties, and surrounding areas in South Carolina.
