EIS (San Jose) (BILINGUAL)
About The Position
Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking a BILINGUAL Early Intervention Specialist in Santa Clara County, specifically in the city of San Jose & surrounding areas. This position is available as a part-time or full-time opening. The role involves working with children in family homes to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help children reach developmental milestones. The position requires home visits within San Jose and surrounding areas (Milpitas, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View), with a caseload potentially centered around preferred locations. Caseloads may include a mix of in-person and virtual services depending on client/family needs or preferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field)
- Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development
- Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years
- Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is REQUIRED
- Hold a valid Driver's License
- Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius)
- Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration
- Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
- Have current TB
