Early Childhood Teacher (Part- time) afternoon closer
About The Position
Color Our Rainbow Academy is hiring for part-time afternoon "closers" to work until 6:00 p.m. each day. This role is ideal for individuals who prefer a later start to their day. As an assistant teacher, you will help set the foundation for the future by working within a company that has been voted by its employees for multiple years as an employer of choice. Requirements
- Experience working with young children
- Some coursework in early childhood, education (or a related field)
- CPL 1, 2 or 3 (wage is assigned based on years of experience and education/training documented in OCCRRA)
- Ready to lend a helping hand and work as a team
- Supports families through daily communication and engagement
- Joins in on fun singing and dancing
- Commits to watching students grow through the whole year (longevity)
- Provides social and emotional support and healthy relationships
- Professional and committed to quality
- Motivated and holds true to what you say you will do (integrity)
Responsibilities
- Health and safety of children
- Prepares and implements hands-on activities
- Actively supervises the children at all times
- Daily communication (verbal, send pictures, videos, messages)
- Builds strong family relationships through goal setting and engagement in classroom activities
- Professionalism

- Enrolls in and completes training through training platforms
- Appropriate interactions, dress, communication
