About The Position

At Gymboree Play & Music in Carmel, we are the experts in early childhood development! We build confidence, creativity, and lifelong friendships through our specialized play-based learning programs. From blowing bubbles and shaking parachutes to introducing little ones to the wonders of music, art, and S.T.E.M., we provide a vibrant, high-energy environment where children and parents can play and grow together. Are you fluent in "toddler"? Do you have a big imagination and an endlessly playful personality? We are looking for a fun-loving Part-Time Teacher to join our team for 1 to 2 days per week! In this role, you will be the life of the party, leading engaging, developmentally appropriate classes for young children and their grownups. You don’t need a background in education or years of classroom experience— we will completely train you! If you bring the energy and a genuine love for making kids smile, we will teach you the rest.

Requirements

A playful, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
A genuine love for children and a passion for early childhood development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact beautifully with both children and adults.
No prior experience required! We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are confident and ready to lead.
Availability to work 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Facilitate high-energy, play-based classes including physical play, music, and art activities.
Build strong connections with children and their parents/caregivers, creating a welcoming and inclusive community.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing play floor and classroom environment.
Comfortably sing loud (even if off-key!), act silly, blow bubbles, and make every child feel special.
