About The Position
We are hiring a Part-Time Floater to support our classrooms in the afternoons. This role is essential to keeping our classrooms running smoothly and meeting required child care staffing standards. As a floater, you’ll move between classrooms to provide coverage for breaks, transitions, and daily needs—supporting both children and teaching staff.
Requirements
- Someone who is reliable, flexible, and enjoys working with children
- Positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- PDIS Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Step into classrooms as needed to support teachers and maintain proper staffing ratios
- Provide attentive, safe, and caring supervision for children of various age groups
- Assist with daily routines including playtime, transitions, snacks, and clean-up
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
- Support classroom activities and jump in where help is needed
