About The Position

The Parent Child Center at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. (NCSS) is looking for dedicated Early Childhood Specialists to support families with young children through home visits and mental health consultation. In this role, you’ll provide prevention services and offer emotional and behavioral support to caregivers, helping children thrive both at home and in childcare settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Knowledge of child development and/or parenting
• Bachelor’s Degree; and related training and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home visiting, childcare, or mental health is a plus—but not required!

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention services to families with young children.
• Offer emotional and behavioral support to caregivers.
• Conduct home visits.
• Provide mental health consultation.
