About The Position

This position involves providing services for preschool students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Services are delivered in various settings including the child's home, community preschool programs, or private daycare settings. In the afternoons, the itinerant teacher will be an integral part of the Child Find team, responsible for conducting developmental screenings, evaluations, and leading child study meetings.

Requirements

• Endorsement of Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) is required.
• Must have or be eligible for a Virginia Teaching Certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing services for preschool students with IEPs.
• Delivering services in the child's home, community preschool program, or private daycare setting.
• Participating in the Child Find team in the afternoons.
• Conducting developmental screenings.
