About The Position

This role involves assisting a special services teacher in an early childhood special education setting. The paraprofessional will work directly with students assigned to the teacher, providing support in various aspects of their learning and daily activities. The position requires a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the individual needs of students with disabilities.

Requirements

• 60 college credit hours
• Missouri ParaPro Assessment passing score (before September 23, 2013)
• Missouri Paraprofessional Assessment passing score (after September 23, 2013)
• Completed Missouri’s 20-hour online substitute training program

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials as assigned.
• Provide services to students as assigned.
• Provide for individual differences.
• Assist students in completing assignments.

• Follow guidelines developed by the teacher.
