About The Position

This role provides support by assisting with daily teaching and functions of the early childhood classroom. The assistant will facilitate play with young children, assist with room set-up/clean-up, prepare classroom materials, and follow the daily schedule. Other duties may be assigned by the classroom teacher or Coordinator. This position is located at the Isanti Location and follows the As per Terms and Conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Successful Background Check required.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs on a regular basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• General knowledge of practices, methods and techniques used in early childhood classroom teaching.
• Ability to work effectively with parents and teachers.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Passion for working with children.
• Exemplifies compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline and honesty.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with young children preferred.
