About The Position

Join a mission-driven behavioral health team providing early childhood mental health services that build strong foundations for lifelong success. As an Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll partner with young children (ages 0–5) and their caregivers to support social-emotional development, strengthen relationships, and promote healthy growth in early learning settings.

Requirements

  • Meet Qualified Mental Health Practitioner criteria (qualifications can be reviewed here)
  • Have strong knowledge of parenting, child development, and family dynamics.
  • Have outstanding communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a heart for working with high-risk youth and families in crisis.
  • Are nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and have a strengths-based approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide developmentally appropriate mental health services to young children and families
  • Deliver caregiver-focused and dyadic interventions that support attachment and regulation
  • Collaborate with families, childcare providers, and community partners
  • Develop and implement individualized, family-centered treatment plans
  • Support early social-emotional development and school readiness
  • Partner with caregivers, early learning staff, and community providers
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and communication
  • Advocate for child and family needs across systems
  • Provide trauma-informed, relationship-based care
  • Coach and support caregivers in building strong parent-child connections
  • Deliver education and resources to families and providers
  • Complete clinical documentation in alignment with billing and regulatory standards
  • Maintain compliance with confidentiality, ethics, and reporting requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and reflective supervision
