About The Position

New Horizon Academy is seeking professionals with experience in childcare or a similar industry for their Early Childhood Managerial Training (ECMT) program. This program is designed to launch leadership careers and includes rotations at centers and the corporate office with various mentors. Training covers key areas such as curriculum execution, licensing, ProCare (enrollment/tuition program), and parent/customer relations. Upon completion, ECMT candidates receive priority consideration for management roles like Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Director. All employees are expected to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment that enhances self-concepts, encourages independence, and respects individuality. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to lead in a diverse environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed early childhood setting.
  • Meet Program Administrator qualifications for NAEYC accreditation.
  • Knowledge of Rule 3, NAEYC, SEEDS Ez-Write and Creative Curriculum.
  • Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in a formal training program geared toward a management role at one of their centers.
  • Participate in rotations at centers and the corporate office with a variety of mentors/trainers.
  • Receive training on key areas such as curriculum execution, licensing, ProCare (enrollment/tuition program), parent/customer relations and other key skills that Directors must possess.
  • Help shape the leaders of tomorrow.
  • Meet or exceed state qualifications for the listed position.
  • Satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
  • Provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
  • Perform required job duties with or without accommodations.
