About The Position
The Learning Experience - Natick is hiring experienced Early Childhood Lead Teachers across their programs. Opportunities may be available in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms based on qualifications, experience, preferred age group, and current center needs. The Learning Experience makes early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Their curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of their nurturing teachers and staff. TLE® has created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
Requirements
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher
- Professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience required
- Infant-Toddler and/or Preschool qualifications welcomed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible, dependable, and passionate about working with young children
Nice To Haves
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead an engaging and developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom
- Create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, art, music, movement, and hands-on activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Establish positive classroom routines and use positive guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
- Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
