About The Position

The Learning Experience - Franklin is hiring experienced Early Childhood Lead Teachers to join their team. They are interested in learning about candidates' strengths, qualifications, and preferred age groups to determine the best fit for their Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs. The role involves leading engaging and developmentally appropriate classrooms, creating meaningful learning experiences through various activities, implementing The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum, supporting children's development, establishing routines, observing and documenting development, mentoring assistant teachers, communicating with families, and maintaining a safe classroom environment while adhering to Massachusetts EEC requirements.

Requirements

Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher
Professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience required
Infant-Toddler and/or Preschool qualifications welcomed
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education

Nice To Haves

Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Lead an engaging and developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom
Create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, art, music, movement, and hands-on activities
Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
Establish positive classroom routines and provide consistent guidance
Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom
Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
