Early Childhood Educator
About The Position
The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate, dependable, and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Our educators create safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environments where children can learn, play, grow, and thrive. In this role, you will take an active role in the daily success of your classroom, implement our curriculum, support children's development, build meaningful relationships with families, and collaborate with fellow educators. Classroom placement will be based on experience, strengths, and the needs of our center. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their classroom, works well as part of a team, and shares our commitment to creating an environment where Happy Happens Here®.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience required.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and passionate about working with young children.
- Must meet applicable state licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- One year or more of professional teaching experience preferred.
- Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Take ownership of daily classroom routines, organization, and learning experiences.
- Observe and document children's developmental progress.
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to provide consistent, high-quality care.
- Use positive guidance techniques to encourage confidence and independence.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
- Follow all health, safety, licensing, and center requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
